One of the pictures I posted in the "Girls with Guns" thread recently included an image of a school girl with a rather unusual Glock. The original pages that the image was cropped from described the weapon as a "Bowie Tactical Concept: Glock 17 Custom." So I decided to do a little snooping around online.
Turns out Bowie Tactical Concepts is a company that specialises in making ergonomic improvements to polymer framed handguns in general, and, from the looks of things, Glocks in particular. Supposeclly most of the work reshaping and retexturing the grips is done by hand, which probably explains why the work is so expensive. Those grip modifying jobs look like a ton of work!
Some examples of the company's work can be found here:

Though I notice none of the ones displayed on the site come in light brown and yellow.

Or for that matter, with what appears to be a 70's woodgrain finish
Pretty cool though, pity I'm not a big fan of Glocks

You're not a gunsmith in today's market unless you can do a quality grip job. Dan Burwell (http://www.burwellgunsmithing.com) is considered by most to be the Smith M&P guru.
Not only does he do grips (back-straps, front-straps, and thumb rests), but does an incredible "melt" job to smooth out the M&P's sharp lines. He also can get the trigger down to a weight that puts it in with custom 1911's. Check out his gallery here: http://www.burwellgunsmithing.com/gallery.htm
I have personally met ten people who have had him work on their guns, and all of them are incredibly satisfied. His prices aren't bad either.

Because there's too much spam in the old thread for me to even consider deleting every single noob post, I'm just gonna copy all the picture posts to this thread. Yes, they will be under my name, because I can't figure out how - or even if - I can move
Bowie Langille will be having clinics at the Greenwood Horse and Rec Club. The dates are March 13 & 14, April 10 & 11, May 22 & 23 and July 17 & 18 Cost for theses clinics is $100.00 and you will ride twice a day. Stall fees will be $15.00
Ahh man, those games today were fun as hell.
