Forced to sell the 1a2. We just got another wagon, one with NO rust, so this one has to go. A real police-packaged wagon(rare). If youve seen it at a meet or the cruise, you know what it is.
1995 Caprice Wagon. 147k. DGGM.
Eaton Posi w/373s. Aluminum Driveshaft.
SLP air intake. Tuned for 93oct and firmer shifts. (car is pretty quick!)
Trans has less than 40k on it.
Runs and drives fine. Everything works except the Horn. Horn is intermittent.Has a pretty bad exhaust manifold leak on the pass. side..
Was a NY state Thruway car. Its pretty rusty on the underside, but the quarters and spare tire spot are SOLID.
Has drivers side spotlight(works)
9c1 wheels caps and rings
Hood emblem deleted, has Impala SS grille.

If you were at the cruise and saw it, well, it hasnt changed since then lol. I drove the ar 6hours each way to WagonFest this year, out to Wellfleet in the Cape twice, and to NH a bunch of times. I wouldnt hesitate driving this anywhere.

Price is $1,200 FIRM.

Hate selling it because these are rare, but can't see myself making it a winter beater and I simply doont have the time to attack the rust issue underneath.. Will post pics later when I'm on my computer, im on the laptop right now..

On a side note, we got a 95 Roady Wagon from NC last week(just flew down and drove her up on friday!) Its a high miler and has a maaco-like paintjob, but she's RUST FREE! Oh, and wood-free too! Gold with tan leather, I like!

Without a doubt, Paul's car is my favorite. It is unique and rare. That price is more than fair.

How bad is the rust on the underside? Is it rot or just something that can be treated with an encapsulator like POR 15 or MasterSeries?
9 toomanytoyz, on 01/12/2009 at 13:41
It'd make a great winter beater, Matt! Smile

For real thats a good deal.

The rear end alone is worth almost that much.

I'm about $1100 short right now though lol.

Me too, before I found the Caprice I got I was thinking about this car!

This was one of my favorites at the meet and considering how spotless it was I find it hard to believe there's rust anywhere! I think it's a smokin' deal for the price.

That car would make a great impala ss hybrid clone. Just loose spotlight, and paint lower trim, and install SS wheels.

Okay, so I've decided I know NOTHING about wheel shopping. As most of you probably know, my wagon has 15x7 wheels. I'm piecing together a shopping list (most of this is conceptual at this point, but I'm pretty serious about it), and I ran across wheel
