ka24de firing order???

by boostedka_s13, on 31/08/2009 at 02:17
i checked the firing order for a ka24de and it said it was

1,3,4,2

and then whatever it says on the cap

12
34

is that right???
cause thats how mine is and the car doesnt really want to start. when i try to start it the motor just shakes real bad and doesnt want to start up as if the firing order is wrong or something with the timing or something maybe??? anyone know what could be wrong?? thanks.

or if there is anyone around the milwaukee waukesha area that wants to come give me a hand with the car that would be much appreciated too boink

thanks

heres how your wires on your cap should be set up

And is that how the wires on the spark plugs should be? Not 1342?

the wires go exactly how the distibutor has them. #1 on the distributor goes to the #1 cyl, #2 on the distributor goes to #2 cyl and so forth.

yuppp. it actually started up. so the firing order was all wrong. but it doesnt run to smooth and it doesnt go past 3,000rpm. there is no check engine light either so idk what it could be. maybe timing?????

Drying of a Pot After potting the water must be removed from the still wet pot. A faulty drying process can destroy the pot while drying or during the first firing process. Mechanically bound water fills the space between the single clay
