Forte Air-Con Issue

Happy day to all,

I'm new here, just collected my Bright Silver Babe (EX-Auto) on Monday. But I noticed my Babe infected with "FLU"....air con

When adjusted to knob to higher temparature (fan speed at 1), I can feel the air con for the center blower for both driver & passenger side, but only can feel the air (only air without air-con) for the side blower for both driver & passenger side. After tuning to lower temparature (fan speed at 1), then can feel air-con coming out from all the blower.

When notice about this during collecting the car at KIA, I checked the air-con of the test drive unit. I noticed the same problem too.... Is this normal??? I don't think so, as my old Chevy Optra doesn't have this issue???

You need to turn the center knob to the left. You current mode is set to blow air on the window vent to clear the flog after car wash.

Do u mean the Mode Selection Knob at the center? I'm turning it to Max A/C. U also encounter the same issue?

Max A/C is when you juz enter a car parked under hot sun. You can try turn to different mode and feel the differents

Turn to Blue color ,

Ex model aircon install in spore.

if not cold send back to CNC

Yes, always in the blue. Since EX model did not display the temperature, so don't Know where I am.

When turn to cooler (higher blue), no problem for all the blower, cool enough. But when turn to less cool (lower blue), only the middle blower can feel de air con, but both the blower at beisde near window, only have fan air, hardly feel the air con.

Just went for 1k servicing yesterday.
As per yesterday observations, aircon 'air power' is more even from the centre and sides vents.
temp also relatively lower.
Not sure if rainy weather yesterday contributes to this.

will continue to monitor.

Hi BnC...I think our EX aircon blower is stll controled by a motorized flap like the SX. The difference is only the front console. Do you hear a motorized noise when you turn the knob. This happens to mine. I think the flap is used to control the air flows.

If you can't hear any thing...should be the flap motor spoil.

Hi VAG, yes I did heard the motorised sound, whenever I change the mode.

Actually I'm kind of cold blooded...

, i don't like too cold...so when there is passenger in my forte, I need to turn down temperatue, so the passenger side will be cold.....But I'm suffering due to the low & cold temperature,a s Driver side are extremely cold.
