The 2010 race season is here!!!....... almost
We have a couple of changes this year, starting times for all races will now be at 10am, online pre-registration (now available), larger driver's stand as well as a raised pitt area/ramp and if time or MOTHER NATURE allows, a new track layout.
Maine Rc Series has be scheduled.... Race #1 (May 23rd) Sparetime Hobbies - Race #2 (June 13th)Broken Bridge Offroad Raceway - Race #3 (June 27th)Cumberland Rc Raceway.
Our three big races this year are the Berwick Challenge(8/22), Short Course Shootout (7/11) and Race-Aid (9/19).
With Corr trucks gaining more and more popularity it was only fitting to schedule a race event for the class that has bred new life into our hobby. Classes will be Short Course Stock, Modified, Open.
Berwick Challenge VI is traditionally held at the end of August. We are expecting racers from all around New England to attended this year. Competition is always fierce, good times will be had by all.
Race-Aid is a charity race food drive to benefit Maine & N.H. food pantries. Entry fee is $25.00 ($20 Pre-Registered) in addition to the entry fee racers are asked to donate $10 or bring $10 in non perishable food items. 100% of the proceeds will be donated.

Adam,
Looks like a great list of events this year. Web site looks great too. Spring cannot get here quick enough. Can't wait to fire up the t-Maxx again.

Adam, with the popularity of 1/8 and mt electric classes growing I am curious if the mains for these would be 10 min.
I know the MT elect class main lastyr was 10 minutes.
Your rules show 6 min for the electric classes.
Web site looks great. Also agree with your rules for short course 4x4. Nice work.

Adam and I have been so busy trying to set up the Short Course Truck classes, we missed the times for E-Truggy and E-Buggy.
You know if either of these will or should have the A-Mains run time to 15 min?
Thanks or the notice and if you think of anything else let me know!
When I said Adam and I have been so busy, its really more Adam!!!! I only wish I had the computer skills to put our web-site together like he has done for this year.
Also did you get the attachment I sent to you?

Looks like electric monster, truggy and buggy will have 10min Amains and 5 min lower mains. Of course this is a numbers game so we'll see what happens.

15 minutes is usually pushing it for the larger scales.
I think 10 minutes is fine as it eliminates the need for batt swaps.
From what I can tell, there should be enough electrics to have their own class, at the very least at the big events.
Mike, what attachment are you referring to?
Thanks guys, I always look foward to racing at your events. Make sure you have plenty of freeze pops.
